Home is Where You Are

This is my home. Actually, it’s a house that we’ve created into a home. I’ve been hearing about all the heavy tropical storms sweeping over the Philippines right now wondering how all our friends are faring. I began to think about all the hundreds of people who have survived storms and floods (not just in the Philippines but all over the world) and wondered how I would feel if I were in their situation. Would I mourn the loss of material things? Shout at the heavens? Be grateful that I and my loved ones survived, take a deep breath and begin anew?

Home truly is what you make of it and where your heart is.
